John Michael Lambert/Hans Michael Lampart/Johann Michael Lambarth. John and his two brothers;( listed as 1. Hans Michael Lampart 2. Georg Lambarth 3. Gottfried Lampart,) were passengers on the ship" BRITTANIA," (Capt. Thomas Arnot) from Rotterdam,Holland, (via Cowes, England,) arriving 26 Sept. 1764 Philadelphia Pennsylvania (260 Passengers). At their arrival, they were served out to pay the cost of their voyage. John Michael Lambert (as the name is now written) stayed in America, his brothers Gottfried and John Georg returned to Germany. John and Rosina settled in Tinicum Twsp. Bucks County, Pennsylvania By 1776 they moved to Windsor Twsp., York County, Pennsylvania and returned to Tinicum before 1782. By 1804 he moved with his family to Nockamixon Twsp.,Bucks County, Pennsylvania John was small of statue with stout build and red hair. Rosina survived John by 5 years and lived with her oldest son Nicholas Lambert in Williams Twsp., Northampton County, Pennsylvania near Raubsville. John Michael Lambert served throughout the war of 1776 and saw active service in Captain Robert Patterson's Company of Militia of the associated Company of Militia in the township of Tinicum, Bucks County, Pennsylvania The records of his service in the Revolutionary War are preserved in the Pennsylvania archives and entitle all of his descendants to membership in either one of the nations most prominent patriotic societies, " The Sons, (or) The Daughters of the American Revolution"
