John C. Loyd, aged 77 years died at his residence in Ohio Township at two o'clock this morning from paralysis. The deceased was a highly respected gentleman in the community in which he lived. The funeral services will be held at the Ohio Chapel tomorrow morning at half past ten o'clock, and the remains will be laid to rest in the Ohio Chapel Cemetery.

Old father Loyd has been quite feeble all winter and on last Sunday had a stroke of paralysis from which he died on Thursday and was buried at Ohio Chapel on Friday at 10 o'clock.
