John C. Lynch, 79, of Beachwood, died Thursday at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills. He was a truck driver for K&K Trucking Co., Philadelphia, for 20 years, retiring 15 years ago. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a master sergeant with the 101st Airborne Division. He was a member of Lacey Elks Lodge 2518, Forked River, Lacey. Born in Philadelphia, he lived there most of his life before moving to Beachwood 20 years ago.
Surviving are four sons, John of Bristol, Pa., Jim of Point Pleasant, Frank of Bayville, Berkeley, and Joe of Toms River, two daugthers, Roseann Kowalewski of Florida, and Pattie Bowker of Beachwood; 15 grandchildren; and 13 greart-grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church, Bayville. Mastapeter Funeral Home, Bayville, is in charge of arrangements.
