About John McCormick
In Memory of John McCormick he was born March 20th in the year of our Lord 1738 and departed this life Feb. 8, 1814. He was born in Scotland, Kenlite (Kintyre) and emigrated to the State of NC in the 30th year of his life.
John was the brother of Duncan. His memorial # 85652975 (1740-1820) and Gilbert McCormick.
John immigrated to the Colonies about 1768.
He served for 84 months as a private in the Revolutionary War in the 4th North Carolina Regiment of the Continental Line.
John married Barbara McEachern.
