Biography

John Meacham, son of Jeremiah Meacham II and Mary Trask, was born April 29, 1675 at Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony, and died 1761 at New Salem in Franklin County, Province of Massachusetts. He is seen as buried there in the North New Salem Cemetery, but it didn’t exist until the 19th century, apparently.

On 28 May 1697 in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts, he married Mary Cash. She was born April 29, 1675 at Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, the daughter of William Cash and Elizabeth Lambert.
