John Castello Montefiore

Some researcher believe he and his older sister Sarah are not the children of Eliezer and Judith but their nephew a son of Joseph Moses Castello Coronel Nunes and Rachel Montefiore. However he may have been the son of Eliezer Montefiore (b.1761) and Judith Barrow (b.1765) the daughter of Joseph Barrow and Hannah Brandon. Judith Barrow may have died around 1796 and Eliezer remarried to his first wife's cousin Judith Levi (b.1775) the daughter of Joseph Levi and Eve Barrow.
