John Wilson Morris, was a miner in Pleasant Creek, VIC. He sustained a fractured spine in an accident, and died on 23 July 1871. There is very little information on the death record, and it would appear that his wife, Amelia, never learned his fate, as she never married her new partner, Robert Grace. It is possible that he had abandoned the family some years prior to his death, but there isn’t enough evidence to confirm this.
