John Nicholson, son of Christopher Nicholson, was born on Dec. 17, 1671, (Hist. and Gen. Reg.
III, 2, p. 209) and died on June 19, 1718 (idem, III, 3, p. 404). On Nov. 20, 1700, he married
Priscilla Tomes, daughter of Francis and Priscilla Tomes (idem, III, 3, p. 409). Their children
were:
1. Elizabeth Nicholson
2. Mary Nicholson
3. Samuel Nicholson, married Mary Kinsey, daughter of John Kinsey who made his will in
Perquimans Co., NC on Oct. 08, 1718 (Grimes).
