Description From the introduction to the book: “Woodstock was incorporated as a town in 1690 by Massachusetts, although the first settlement there was as early as April, 1686, and was known as New Roxbury or Quatosett. The land was granted in 1663 by the Colony of Massachusetts to the town of Roxbury and practically all of it’s first settlers came from there.”
