John Pierce, Jr.

John, the son of John Pierce and Elizabeth Trulle was baptised at St Edmund in Norwich, Norfolk on March 12, 1617/18.[1]

John Jr emigrated to this country in 1637 with his parents, his three sisters, Barbara, Elizabeth and Judith, and one servant. It is believed that they came on the "Rose" or the "John and Dorothy" from Norwich, England.[2]

He was likely married by 1642 and had five known children with wife Elizabeth (birth surname unknown):[3]

2. Elizabeth b Jun 16, 1645; died young
3. John b Nov 23, 1644;[4] m Ann Huthwit
4. Joseph b Sep 12, 1646[4]
5. Thomas b May 3, 1649[4]

There are land records for John Pierce in Woburn until 1649[3] and Boston in 1658.[5]

No records of John's death or estate have been located.
