Why are John and Eliza buried in the Bodenhamer Cemetery ? Their daughter Charlotta Jane PLUMMER (abt 1842-?) married Martin Van Buren BODENHAMER (1838-1926) and their daughter Margaret C. PLUMMER (1848-1905) married Thomas Hart Benton BODENHAMER (1842-1924). Both Martin Van Buren and Thomas Hart Benton BODENHAMER were sons of Jacob BODENHAMER and Neaty GOSS, who are also buried there.
