John Radford (1941 - 2012)

Brief overview:

John (71), from Kirkwood, was found murdered, in the Aqua Park bushes on 20th August 2012. Police say that he was bludgeoned on the head with a rock while gathering plants. They found his body with the help of the canine unit, after midnight. Warrant Officer Gerda Swart, said the alarm was only raised when someone noticed Radford's beach buggy in the bushes.

Police had also responded to a report of a break-in at a house in Sonop Street, which happened to be Radford's home.
