About John Reeder, Jr.

John Reeder, born 12 Jun 1757, third of the fourteen children of John and Hannah (Mershon) Reeder, died in Trenton Township 17 Feb 1830. He married Susannah (Fleming)Howell (1761-1836), widow of Isaac Howell, of Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, who died April 1787 (NJA 36:118). The will of John Reeder, of Trenton Township, dated 06 Feb 1830 and proved 02 Mar following, devised to son Isaac Reeder and son-in-law Andrew Slack $5.00 each, with what they have received; to son John Reeder $100; to daughter Sally, wife of Levi Howell, household goods; and to son-in-law Levi Howell, executor, all residue of the estate. The witnesses were Amos Reeder, Peter Jaquesh and Stacy G Potts.
