Oct. 5, 1755; sponsered by Michael RINGER and wife Catharina-After he moved to Ohio- Abstracted from the book Combination atlas map of Stark County, Ohio reprint of 1875 - Early Nimishillen Township Settlers - Item #28. Michael Ringer-fence viewer. (FYI- A Fence Viewer is a town official who administers fence laws, inspects new fence and settles disputes arising from livestock that have escaped.) -- On 12 April 1805 Michael registered In Range 7, Twp. 19, two sections of land. First was Section 7, Certification # 1304 and in Section 10, Certification # 1305. This is in Nimishillen Twp. Stark Co. He appearedon tax list here in 1810. On November 5, 1822, Michael sold to his son William, 108 acres for $216, to son George, 108 acres for $212, to son John, 158 acres for $316 and to son Michael he sold two parcels of 116 acres for $210 each. Thisland was in Nimishillen Township, section 10 with exception of Johns land in section 7. ---Revolutionary war service, Pennsylvania. [ from DAR Patriot Index] Service: Pvt. 6th class, Capt.
