About John Samuel Ringer
JOHN S. RINGER, 82, of Rt. 2, Hagerstown, died at Washington County Hospital on Monday. Born in New Salem, he was a son of Silas and Mary Johnson Ringer.
He was a member of Salem Reformed Church, and had been an elder and deacon in the church. He was a retired farmer and transported milk, and was a member of Friendship Lodge, No. 84, AF&AM; and Ithiel R.A. Chapter No. 29.
He is survived by a daughter, Miss Sarah C. Ringer, at home; a grandson, two step-grandchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter.
Services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home. Burial in Salem Reformed Cemetery.
