About John Sable
Biographical Summary:
John Sable (Savell, Sables), a proprietor " by courtesie of the town;" his home lot in 1639 was west of what is now Lafayette St. The use of half his home-lot, and planting lot, was granted to Thomas Bliss, December, 1642. He was made freeman May, 1658, and probably before that date had settled in some other place.
