John Shore

John Shore/Shores was a son of Frederick Shores & Barbara Ries. Born June 20, 1780 at Surry County, NC and Died in 1850 in Surry County, NC.

Husband of Anna Margaret (Peggy) Groce. Married on 11/11/1804 at Surry County, NC.

When the 1st Census was taken in 1790 in Surry County, NC, John Shores was named on it. Also, the Tax List showed that John Shores also had 400 Acres of land. [Please see the URL for Genealogy Trails who transcribed the1790 Census & Tax information below].

So far, the burial locations of both John Shores & Anna Margaret (Peggy) Groce have not been located.
