John Slaven was reputedly a man of remarkable muscular powers - a Revolutionary War Veteran, hunter and trapper.

Slaven available thru a Google search identifies children of John Slaven and Elizabeth Warwick Hodge to include William b: 6 Jul 1798 William married Margaret Wooddel in 1819 and had 8 children. With his second wife Nancy Cline they had 9 children: Mary, Sarah, Caroline, Martha, Lucy, Frank, Lanty, Roland and Perry. Lanty is Samuel Lantanas Slaven my great grandfather Note: F.L.
