John Carter Snow

(son of James C. Snow and Eliza Ann Carter). Born June 28, 1840, Lima, Illinois. Came to Utah with parents.

   Married:	Harriet Baker, Salt Lake City (daughter of John and Mary Ann Baker of Herefordshire, England, pioneers 1856, Edward Bunker handcart company). She was born October 16, 1844.

Their children:
Harriet Ann born September 6, 1861, married James Fielding Dunn;

           John C., married Sarah Ellison;

           Erastus Warren, married Maud Wallworth;

           Joseph Howard, died;

           Ernest Alfred, married Ester Shaw;

           Reed, died.

Married: Ester Chidester (Pulsipher) 1883, Salt Lake City.
Their children:
Lapreal;

           Myrtle, married James Sumner;

           Arietta.

Families resided Provo, Utah.
Priest; elder; ward and block teacher. Pioneer in making roads and canals. Second lieutenant Company A, state militia. Died July 10, 1909. Sources:
