About John Martin Super
John Super, 73, a life-long resident of Flensburg died at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 1956, at St. Gabriel's hospital in Little Falls, MN.
He was born September 15, 1883, the fifth child of Martin and Paulina (Golebiewski) Super on the family farm immediately southwest of Flensburg. But John partially used his own funds to insure that no account holders lost their money due to the bank failure. Before the Depression John also ran a chain of additional potato warehouses as far north as Pequot Lakes, MN.
John was survived by his wife and following children: Simon J. and Benedict, Flensburg; Florian, San Diego, CA; Jerome, Mentor, MN; Mrs. Lawrence (Mary Jane) Then, St. Stephen, MN, and Betty Lou Super, St. Paul, MN.
