- A farmer living in North Hampton whwere he was a selectman and, for many years, Tow Leather Sealer. He was a soldier in King George's War: in July and August, 1746, was one of 14 scouts under Captin Nathaniel Drake who searched ten dayhs for hostile Indians in Nottingham woods "without avail." He signed the Association Test of 1776 at North Hampton.
