(Information from "Shadrach Hapgood Genealogy Book) I married my wife Mary(Hapgood) at Watertown, April 10, 1688. My younger brother Jonathon married my wife's younger sister Sarah about 3 years after Mary and I did.I(We) settled in Framinghamand built a house near Washakum pond. I was selectman in 1714 for 3 years. I was constable in 1719 and tythingman in 1719 and 1724. I was admitted to the church on July 26,1719. I was a fuller by trade. I died in 1735. My inventory bears date ofMay 22, 1735 and my estate was valued at 619 Pounds. 14s.7d. In all I resided at Framingham, Sherborn and Wrentham, Massachusetts. My younger brother Jonathon also died in 1735. It was a sad year for our dear wives.
