- Sir John de Meriet was born on 24 March 1345/46.1 He was the son of Sir John de Meriet and Eleanor Beauchamp.1 He married Elizabeth FitzAlan, daughter of Sir Edmund FitzAlan and Sibyl Montagu, circa 1373.2 He died on 26 July 1391 at age 45.1
