About Jonas Jonsson Arenius
The name was taken from the Latin word "Arena", meaning sand. He was in 1670 marriage to chaplain in Borås municipality, pastorat, Skara pins, between Alingsås and Borås in älvsborg County, and to marry former Vicar, Thorbern Bjerbius, widow Rangela Brisman, daughter of Bjerchius, Jonas Brynolfi and Birgitta Erici. Then Arenius in 18 years "Tillich chaplain service with no Inn and low pay and uti graduate pastorat demonstrated his diligence and ability", he was appointed vicar in Bredared 1688, responderade at priest meeting that same year, died 1703 13/4. Borås municipality, Västra Götaland County Assembly today in pastorat.
