White farming family of Tredyffrin. ~• Somewhat coincidentally, an A.M.E. group bought land from him plus' his son John's brother-in-law lived near the Hitch family, former slaves, originally from Delaware... To me this is noteworthy as the AME influence was strong among the black community.. (see project)
