Jose Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonzo Realonda, also known as Jose Rizal or Pepe, was the national hero of the Philippines. he known as the one who fight the Spanish occupation and their government. he is a writer, poet, teacher and also a doctor. he wrote some novels like Noli Me Tangere means "Touch Me Not" and El Filibusterismo or "The Government's Enemy". he also wrote poems like Sa Aking Mga Kababata or "To My Fellow Childhood", Junto Al Pasig or "Beside the Pasig River", Mi Primera Inspiracion or "My First Inspiration", El Embarque: Himno a la Flota de Magallanes or "The Leaving: Himn of Magellan's Flute", and his last poem was Mi Ultimo Adios or "My Last Farewell".

He also known as a lover, he loved more than ten woman. he joined the Propaganda Moavement during his time in Spain. but he executed in Bagumabayan, Manila (now, Luneta or Rizal Park) on December 30, 1896 when he was 35 years, 6 months, and 11 days.
