Josef Kahn suffered of muscular atrophy his whole life and was handicap and could hardly walk. He lost his young mother Sprinz Sofie when he was 12 days old and his twin sister (Karolina ?) at birth or shortly after. His father then married his mother's sister and he grew up at home with her. He never married and could not work but did help out in the general store at home. He graduated the ILBA teachers seminary in Wuerzburg and was a very intelligent person, loved by all. In the last years of his life he lived in a Jewish Old-Age Home on Duerestr, 22, Wuerzburg. Germany and from there he was deported by Nazis to Theresienstadt on Sept 23,1942 and murdered there 3 month later on 9 Jan. 1943. May he rest in peace. His Theresienstadt death certificate states he died of URAEMIE - blutvergiftung durc Harn = Blood poisoning by urine.
