Joseph H Crouch

Crouch b 27 MAR 1794, near Petersburg VA; d 30 Apr 1849, Owen Co., Ky.;

ca 1813, TN, Anna Lada. Joseph was born of Baptist parents. In his

childhood, he moved to Green Co. in East TN. ca1809 he united with

Buffalo Ridge Church. ca 1814 he was ordained to theministry by Jonathan

& John Mulky. In TN he served churches at Buffalo Ridge, Fall Branch,

Beech Creek, Double Springs, Carters Station, Leesburg& Sinking

Creek. 1829 he moved to Owen Co., Ky. and united with the Poplar

Grove Church. In Ky. he served churches at Dry Ridge, Mt. Zion, Grassy

Creek, Crooked Creek, New Bethel, Lick Creek, Providence, Long Ridge
