Joseph Braz Fernandes

When I met him, my step-grandfather Joseph Braz Fernandes, was living in Ferns Mansion, opposite St. Andrew's Church, Bandra West, Bombay. He was living with Aunty Rose. That was in the 1950s, when he must have been about 70 - 80 years of age.

Joseph Braz was born on March 19th., 1877 and he died on September 8th., 1962. He married Matilda Maud (1888 - 1916). Both Joseph and Matilda were buried to the south side of St. Andrew's Church, Bandra West. Joseph and Matilda had issue: Avis and Kevin Fernandes.
