About Joseph E. Gingerich
APPLE CREEK Joseph E. Gingerich, 37, 12150 Berg Road, died Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville, following a sudden illness. Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the residence with Bishop Jonas Swartzentruber officiating. Burial will be at Yoder Cemetery, Apple Creek. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Arrangements are being handled by Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg. He was born Dec. 1, 1967, in Wayne County, to Elam P. and Mary J. (Miller) Gingerich and married Anna E. Hershberger on March 22, 1990. She survives. He was engaged in farming. He was a member of the Old Order Amish. Surviving in addition to his wife, are children, Enos, Levi, Elam, Jacob, Rebecca, Fannie, Esther and Eli, all of the home; his parents; brothers, Jacob of Wisconsin, Gideon and Andrew, both of Fredericksburg, Jonas of Apple Creek, Levi of Dalton and Amos of New York and sisters, Iva Hershberger and Lovina Hershberger, both of Dalton, Katie Hershberger, Esther Stutzman, Rebecca Stutzman and Susie Gingerich, all of Apple Creek. Two infant sons died previously.
