page 609 Joseph Haight. A Friend ; lived 5 miles south of Shappaqua Meeting House, N. Y. ; d. there before 1800. The residence of two of his Gus. [Mary and Charity] was " manor of Phillips- * burgh" when they were mar., in 1762 and B. The records fur nished by (6663) S. S. Haight give Anna as the name of his wife ; but the records of the Purchase Monthly Meeting show that a Joseph Hoight m. Zeruiah Sutton, March, or April, 1734. (6731) Patience states that her grandfather had two wives ; hence Zeruiah may have been the first and Anna the second wife. The name of Jos. Haight also occurs on the Pur chase Monthly Meeting records in 1769, and on the Purch. Quarterly Meeting records in 1770 and 1773.
