FARMER IS FATALLY HURT IN RUNAWAY

Joseph Hepler, 36 years, Pitman, was fatally injured, his wife was badly hurt and young son sustained a broken arm, yesterday afternoon when their horse ran away and upset the carriage.

Hepler was so badly injured he died this morning at the State Hospital at Fountain Springs. His skull was fractured and one arm was broken. His wife has lacerations of the scalp and body.

The party had been in the field gathering produce to bring to market today. When returning home in a buggy, the horse took fright going through a field and ran away, when making the curve at Pitman, the carriage upset, tossing the party out.
