Joseph Edward Ivie, 88, Klamath Falls, died June 17, 1990, in Klamath Falls.

He was born June 24, 1901, in Red Top, MO, the son of Thomas J. and Minnie J. "Wells" Ivie.

Mr. Ivie married Bertha Roxie Perry Jan. 4, 1963, in Klamath Falls.

He worked for many years as a trimmer-man at a sawmill until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Wesley, Jim and Don, Klamath Falls, and Victor, Priest River, ID; one brother, George, Tempe, AZ; two sisters, Grace Downen, Newton, KS, and Opal Ivie, Wichita, KS; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
