From records of Fairfax Meeting: 1756 he made acknowledgement for wagoning for soldiers 1764 was appointed to visit families 1771 was made an overseer of Fairfax Preparative Meeting 1775 had permission to attend burials; was made clerk;visited families and went to Blackwater Yearly Meeting 1778 was released as clerk; visited Thomas Taylor about releasing slaves; was made an elder 1781 attended Yearly Meeting at Moles 1790 received Yearly Meeting stock; cared for graves and gave permission for burials.
