Joseph George Jonas

Born in Saint Martin (Township) in Stearns County, MN; Joseph G. was the fourth of six children {five sons & one daughter} born to Peter J. & Barbara (Lenarz) Jonas.

On 15 November 1921, Joseph married Olivia M. Geris in Stearns County, MN; she was age 24, he was 31. Olivia was the youngest of eight children {six daughters & two sons} born to Joseph Peter & Margaret (Mehr) Geris.
