About Joseph Jones
Joseph was born about 1715. His parentage is unknown.
He married Elizabeth Hart, daughter of Major Ralph Hart of Trenton, Mercer Co., New Jersey, on July 2, 1749. They had at least two daughters: Mary and Martha.
Joseph took the Oath of Allegiance in 1777. DAR# A129478
He was still living when his wife passed away on Nov. 27, 1781.
It is assumed, but not confirmed, that he was buried in the First Presbyterian Church of Ewing Cemetery.
