"Sepp" Jacob & Anna probably were in the Horodyszcze congregation. Most of Joseph's brother & sisters who came to America lived in SD. Joseph & Barbara came to Amer. with the Kutusovka cong. and probably lived briefly in Ill. Joseph probably worked there to repay loans for the trip to Amer. Two of their children died in Tremont, Ill. They arrived in Halstead in Feb. 1876. - had Amish singularities - a full beard but shaved mustache, simple dress inc coat with hook & eye & broad-rimmed, glat-crowned black hat. Spoke Russian well.
