Fitchburg Sentinel News paper 13 May 1946 › Fitchburg. Mass., May I3, 1946. Joseph Maillet , GARDNER, May 13-Joseph Maillet. 67, of 35 Washington street, died at Heywood Memorial hospital last night of injuries suffered Friday afternoon when struck by a tree he was felling on a wood lot off Green j street. He was bom in Buclouche, N. B., Feb. 25, 1879. the son of Doisithe and Jenevieve (Leger) Maillet. He had lived In Gardner for 22 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lydie (Bernard) Maillet; nine daughters, Sister Marie Lydie, Sister Evangeliste and Sister Marie, all of the Order of Notre Dame de Sacre Coeur, Canada, and the Misses Barbara, Bertha, Evangeline, Lorraine, Odette 'and Edna Maillet, all of Gardner; two sons, Emile and Gerard of Gardner; and six brothers, Melas, Legile, Fidele. Ambrose and Julbert of Gardner, and Ame of Canada. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a. m. at the Holy Rosary church. Burial will be in Notre Dame cemetery. Calling hours at the Lamoureux funeral home will be tonight from 7 to 10 o'clock and tomorrow from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p. m. , AT LEDGEMONT STAND--
