He died 1920's and was buried in Lost Creek Cem., El Paso, Pierce Co., WI. Joseph's baptism is recorded in Reg. 1104:212 in the Cermna Church records. Joseph came to the US in 1867. Joseph's second wife, Amelia was a niece to his first wife, Rosalie Janisch.
Noted to Pay taxes in SW 1/2 of Sec 20 ElPaso Township. Helped build the Lost Creek Church
