About Joseph V McKee, Jr.
Joseph V. McKee Jr., a retired chairman of the National Union Electric Corporation, died of cancer Saturday at his home in Greenwich, Conn. He was 67 years old.
Mr. McKee joined National Union as a corporate secretary in 1949 and rose to become its chief executive officer. After National Union was acquired by Electrolux of Sweden in 1974 he continued to head the company until his retirement in 1982.
He was born in New York City, the son of Joseph McKee, a former Mayor.
He is survived by his mother, Cornelia, of Greenwich; his wife, the former Phyllis Feldmann; two daughters, Charlotte Worcester of Greenwich and Catherine Donovan of Annapolis, Md.; two sons, Joseph 3d and C. Russell, both of Greenwich; a brother, Richard P., of Albuquerque, N.M., and 11 grandchildren.
