At age 21 he enrolled in The Sentinels and a year later was a private in the company of Capt. Josiah Kellog and later in the company of of Capt. Samuel Wright<b>.
</b>His initial occupation was as a weaver. About 1751 he moved up to the North Parish of town.
Researcher gives additional sons, Lewis (who is a twin with Lucas), and Isham b: 1748 in Springfield, MA., d: 1822 in Elbert, GA.
Researcher says he lived until 29 Sep 1786.
Researcher gives his date of birth as 13 Dec 1702.
According to the "Springfield Marriages, Vol. 2, p. 27", he married Mary on July 16, 1735. Researcher gives a date of May 12, 1735.
According to the Puritan form of calender dating the "fifth month" is actually July in our normal calender. Perhaps his intention of marriage was recorded on July 12 and it had subsequently became a marriage date of 12 May.
