17/1/8131: Constable/ Gross disobedience of orders in working boats at Stoney Point for his own advantage when stationed there as a Constable, also suspected of having received money from a boy under 15 years of age, knowing it to be stolen - Recommended to be dismissed from the office of Constable and to be imprisoned and kept to hard labour for 18 months.

10/9/1834 /fraud - Spring Hill road party for 6 months - conduct to be reported and not to be assigned on the south side of the island.

1840: Married Elizabeth Bennett (per Edward) and they had 9 children.

In his Will, 1873 Joseph is listed as being a Licensed Carrier. Joseph and Elizabeth both died in 1873 and are buried at Fingal.
