Joseph Wilson Routh

RANDLEMAN - Joe Wilson Routh, 79, of 4333 Bethany Church Road, Franklinville, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1999, at Randolph Hospital. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethany United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Roy Sides officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He was a native of Randolph County, a retired farmer in which he received Century status, a technician with Stanley Bostich and was assigned with the Klaussner Furniture Industries group and was a charter member of the Methodist Men. Surviving are wife, Alpha Carter Routh; sons, Tommy Jay Routh of Climax, Billy Joe Routh and Douglas L. Routh, both of Franklinville; daughters, Mary R. Lineberry, Alice R. Gnida and Ellen R. Cain, all of Franklinville; sister, Lauretta Thompson of Franklinville; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.The family will be at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman, 6-8 p.m. Friday.
