1700, December 16- He (called Josesh Smith, Weaver, son of John Smith, Miller, deceased) had land laid out at Wanskuck (now North Provedence, RI).

1742, October 16- He made his will, which in part read "to granson Stephen Smith all the farm and home which was the homestead of my son Israel, deceased." This homestead was in Glocester, RI.

Died 13 January 1749/50.
