JOSEPH TAYLOR DEAD
---------------------------------------
WAS ONE OF THE OLD MORMON BATTALION VETERANS.
---------------------------------------
This morning Joseph Taylor died at his home at Farr West, of general debility, at the advanced age of 75 years. He was a pioneer in every sense of the word. He had lived in Weber county for fifty years and was a member of the old Mormon Battalion. He leaves many relatives to mourn his loss, among whom is Bishop Greene Taylor, whi is a brother.
His life was known to all. He had friends by the score, but he had passed his three score years and ten and he is now numbered among those who have crossed the river.
