Joseph William "Billy" Trigg, 75, of Lottsburg, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Oldhams, the former owner and operator of Lewisetta Marina and General Store. Mr. Trigg was the retired postmaster of Lewisetta, a World War 11 Veteran and former member of the Callao Ruritan Club. He was also a retired fishing party boat captain and an avid gardener
.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Palmer Trigg; a sister, Beatrice Trigg Gawen of Callao; a foster sister, Mary Ernestine Walker Salmon of Richmond; his beloved pets and companions, Kita and Cindy.
Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Jones-Ash Funeral Home, Rainswood, with Rev. Willie B. Guill officiating. Interment was in Melrose United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lottsburg.
Pallbearers were John P. Lewis, Lewis Ray Reynolds, Ken Smith, Walter Zacharchuk, Marc A. Salerno, Alec W. Salerno, William Sandy and Johnny Smith. Honoraries were Hyatt Headley and Todd Thomas.
