Katherine Stokes Hart wrote, 2/19/15, "Grandfather Willson and his second wife, Mary [Ann Howlett], had three children but only one, Kate, lived. She married a Mr. Kemp. I am not sure of his first name but it may have been Robert. Aunt Kate lived in Richmond and when Mother went to Richmond, she stayed with Aunt Kate. I think I am named for her."

Katherine Stokes Hart wrote, 4/10/15:
"I think Joseph Bragg Willson born Oct (1?), 1889 was Mother's first cousin. He was the son of Augustus and Helen Hoy Willson who lived in Amelia County. Cousin Joe had a brother Hoy and two sisters Mary who married Robert Hardy and Helen who I think married a Mr. Stevens.
Mother was kin to the Willsons on the Hoy side, too, as Grandfather Jackson's sister, Nannie, married Crawford Hoy.
We used to visit Cousin Joe and Cousin Louise when I was a girl."
