To all People to whom these presents shall come Robert Auchmuty of Roxbury Esqr Samuel Adams and William Stoddard of Boston Esqr Peter Chardon of boston merchent Samuel Watts of Chelsea Esqr all in the county of Suffolk George Leonard of Norton in the county of bristol Esqr Robert hale of beverley Esqr John Chote of Ipsich Esqr and thomas Clever of Lyn Gent al all in the County of Esse Directors of the manufactory Company so called send greeting whereas Yetmercy Howland and Josiah Howland both of bristol inholders have put on Record in the Regesters office of the said County of bristol a certain Deed of mortgage bearing Date the ninth Day of September seventeen hundred and forty of three percels of Land in the sd County of bristol two of them in the town of bristol aforesd the other in Easton in said County of Bristol bounded as in to Deed may appears made to us the Directors the consideration being twenty five pounds manufactory bills but whereas the sd Josiah has not in to Deed acknowledged any consideration by him Received of the sd Directors or made binsely a party in the discharging conditions although two third parts of the premises conveyed in to sd Deed are in his Right we the said Robert Auchmuty Samuel Adams William Stodder Peter Chardon Samuel Watts George Leonard Robert hale John Chote and thomas Clever do therefor hereby for themsleves Respectively and their respective heirs Execute and admr Revise Release and forever Discharge the sd mortgaged premises as Conveyed by that Deed to them the said Yetmercy Howland and Josiah the priviledges and appurtenances to them the sd Yetmercy Howland and Josiah Howland their heirs Execute and admr forever In witness whereof Samuel Watts George Leonard Robert hale John Chote and thomas Chever have hereunto let their hands and seals this thirty first day of march in the fourteenth year of the Reign of his majesties King george the second anno Domini 1741
