Joyce Welch

Joyce Gibbs Welch, age 67, a native of Salina, KS and resident of Saraland, AL, died on Monday, February 28, 2011 and is now dancing with the angels. She is preceded in death by her father, Henri Gibbs, Sr. She is survived by her companion and best friend, Larry "Skeet" Lacey; son, Wayne Rawls of Orange Beach, AL; daughter, Deann Seibert of Satsuma, AL; mother, Eloise Gibbs Peterson; brother, Henri Gibbs, Jr.; sisters, Linda Bolton, Shelia McGilberry, Kay Weeks, and Telecia Paulk; grandchildren, Brittnie Walker and Justin Walker, and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Larry Rawls officiating, assisted by Reverend Brian Jones. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
