Farmer, Judge, smith, county commissioner and carpenter, Samuel was the son of Revolutionary soldier John and married Mary Alexander, daughter of James Alexander II on Dec 28th, 1809. They had 15 children. Both are buried w/o monument somewhere here in Little Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
